Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat di Sekitar Daerah Rencana Penambangan Batu Bara PT. Bukit Raya Coal Mining (BRCM) di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara dan Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara Provinsi Kalimantan Timur

Abstract

Coal minning plan of PT. Bukit Raya Coal Minning (BRCM) in Kutai Kartanegara and Penajam Paser Utara district East Kalimantan Province except positive impact also have negative impact to social cultural and economic condition of around society. From the result of the research has been known that society income rate in general was good enough, or out from property line. They are working as farmers and less of them have a side job. The area occupied on average 2,46 ha a head of the family. They got the land from land owner, land rental and their land inheritance. Local economic activities is not only focused on the fulfillment of basic needs, although the paper has sufficient economic support.
