This article outlines the collective reading tasks using interactive book media. Due to the importance of stimulating aspects of child development, the writers attempt to report a qualitative case study research on the effectiveness of collective reading tasks via interactive book media to stimulate early childhood development in language, cognitive, and motor skills. Ten early childhood education teachers and 65 children (38 girls and 27 boys) from five private early childhood education institutions in Indonesia participated in the study. Data for this study were collected using interviews with teachers, classroom observation, and students documentation. Based upon our qualitative content analysis, the findings show that reading books together in Indonesia using interactive book media can stimulate children’s language, cognitive, and motor development. This study provides an exciting opportunity to advance our knowledge of collective reading tasks with interactive book media encompassing various other activities that are very effective in stimulating children’s development, particularly aspects of language, cognitive, and motor development.en_US
