Abstract
This research aimed to determine the effect of plyometric training on soccer shooting abilities at the Samarinda PDL club. The population of this research was all Samarinda PDL players who were male. For the sample it is using random sampling, consisting of twenty initial and final test samples after doing Plyometric Box Jump Exercises and Hexagon Plyometric Exercises for two months, each exercise group A consists of 10 samples and exercise B consists of 10 samples so the total number of samples is 20 people. Data analysis techniques used descriptive test, kolmogorov smirnov, homogeneity, paired t-test and independent test, this analysis uses the SPSS v.21.0 program, (statistical program for special science) using t-test techniques. The results showed that there was a Plyometric training effect on the ability to Shooting soccer of Samarinda PDL Club. In the initial test a score was obtained thitung= 4.385 < ttabel=002 by using α = 0,05 uji Ztable normal followed by the calculation of the influence of both of them obtained value thitung = 6.273 < ttabel = 000 then there is a difference in the effect between the two forms of training on the ability to shoot soccer on Samarinda PDL Club.
