dc.description.abstractEffects salinity different Skeletonema costatum development in semi-massal cultures. The experiment was conducted at UPTD Balai Benih Sentral Air Payau dan Air Laut (BBSAPAL) Balikpapan. Skeletonema costatum in culture with a plastic receptacle arranged according to random design complete with four treatment and three Deuteronomy. That salinity treatment is what that is P1 (15 ppt), P2 (20 ppt), P3 (25 ppt), and P4 (30 ppt). Research results show that different salinity contributes greatly to the growth of the Skeletonema costatum. Based on the average value, the highest population was achieved by treatment P4 (30 ppt) 171.42 x 10⁴ sel/ml while the lowest population was found in treatment P1 (15 ppt) 20.25 x 10⁴ sel/ml.en_US
