PENGARUH PERBEDAAN SALINITAS TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN Skeletonema costatum
Abstract
Effects salinity different Skeletonema costatum development in semi-massal
cultures. The experiment was conducted at UPTD Balai Benih Sentral Air Payau
dan Air Laut (BBSAPAL) Balikpapan. Skeletonema costatum in culture with a
plastic receptacle arranged according to random design complete with four
treatment and three Deuteronomy. That salinity treatment is what that is P1
(15 ppt), P2 (20 ppt), P3 (25 ppt), and P4 (30 ppt). Research results show that
different salinity contributes greatly to the growth of the Skeletonema
costatum. Based on the average value, the highest population was achieved by
treatment P4 (30 ppt) 171.42 x 10⁴ sel/ml while the lowest population was
found in treatment P1 (15 ppt) 20.25 x 10⁴ sel/ml.
