Optimalization of Interpersonal Intelligence of Early Childhoodin Integrated State PAUD (Early Childhood Education) in Kutai Timur Regency
Abstract
Thesestudy aimed:(1) To obtainin-depthinformationof theteachers’ approachin optimalizationinterpersonal
intelligenceinearly childhoodin State PAUD (Early Childhood Education)
inKutai TimurRegency, (2) To obtainin-depthinformation of themethodsandstrategiesused
by the teachersinthe process of optimalizationof interpersonal intelligenceinearly childhoodin
State PAUD (Early Childhood Education)inKutai Timur Regency,and(3) To obtaina
deepinformationon the development of interpersonal intelligence of early childhoodin State
PAUD (Early Childhood Education)inKutai TimurRegency.The method performedin the
collectingandrecordingof datainclude: (1) method ofparticipant observation(participant observation),
used as theprimarymethodforcollectingdata ofearly childhoodinterpersonal intelligencein
Integrated State PAUD (Early Childhood Education)inEast Kutai Timur Regency,
(2) the method of significant interviewcommittedto the Principle, teachers, and students of
the Early Childhood Education (PAUD), and(3) documentation method, as asupportingmethodtoobtain
data/facts. Data analysis technique used were undergone several stages.
First, thedata which were obtainedfromvariousdah athecharacteristics of each. Data obtained
from therecording were transcribedand categorized. Secondly, the datawhichhad beentranscribedand
categorized then were analyzed byusing agroupedstageflowmodel analysis,
whichbeginswith(a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, and(c) drawing conclusionsandverification.
The results showed are asfollows: (1) Teachers’ approachin the optimalizationof
early childhoodinterpersonal intelligenceare generally divided intotwotypes, namely classical'
and 'individual'., (2) Methodsandstrategies used in the process of optimalization interpersonal
intelligence of early childhood in Integrated State Early Childhood Education (PAUD)
in Kutai TimurRegencyisstorytellingandplaying. and(3) Development of interpersonal intelligence
of early childhoodinIntegrated StateEarly Childhood Education (PAUD) of Kutai
TimurRegency, found a significant change which could be seen from thosewho were timid,
shy, could not cooperate, and neglectful toothers, become abrave, alwayscooperateandempathy.
