This study is part of the comparative study of teachers’ beliefs and practices with a focus on problem solving. The aims of the study at hand are to investigate the differences of the mathematics curricula from three countries with very different PISA results: The Curriculum 2006 (C06) and 2013 (C13) of Indonesia are compared with the curricula of Singapore (CS) and Germany (CG). The method is document analysis. The preliminary results show that – regarding the topic of Equations and Inequalities – CS and C13 cover all the contents, CG does not cover linear inequalities and C06 does not cover quadratic equations.en_US
