dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment, job satisfaction and workability on employee performance. This research is a quantitative study using data collected by observation, interviews and questionnaires. The sample used was 125 respondents who were employees of the PDAM Tirta Kencana Samarinda Office using a non-probability sampling sample with a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the variables of work environment and workability partially had a significant effect on employee performance, while the job satisfaction variable partially had no significant effect on employee performance. The variables of the work environment, job satisfaction and workability simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance and the variable that has the dominant influence on employee performance is the workability variable.
Based on the results of the analysis, the authors conclude: There is a need for improvements to the work environment such as the lighting in the workspace in several rooms to be increased again, the usual layout of office equipment adapted to room conditions, preparing a room or a place to store files so that the room does not feel cramped, doing so periodic training and surveys regarding work so that employees' abilities are even better. | en_US |
