Analisa Mikroskopis Dan Kehilangan Berat Pada Kayu Kapur (Dryobalanops sp) Yang Terinfeksi Jamur Pelapuk Putih (Schizophyllum commune)
Abstract
Wood is a natural commodity which is still an option as a building and furniture material because of its several advantages, such as its color, pattern, strength and ease of work. The disadvantage of campher wood products (Dryobalanops sp) is that its quality is easy to decline due to chemical factors, physical factors, or biological factors. One of the agents causing deterioration is Schizhophyllum commune fungus, which can cause weight loss up to 14.14%. The weight loss test was carried out by inoculating the S.commune fungus using PDA (Potato Dextrose Agar) media and incubating it for 4 weeks. The wood density value test was carried out by using the German standard DIN 32182. The hyphae of the S.commune fungus that attacks campher wood (Dryobalanops sp) can be easily seen in the pore cells, which then penetrates between the pore cells and spreads in all directions. The highest weight loss of campher wood is 0.77% and the lowest is 0%.
