Abstract
The study aims to determine and analysis the effect to CAR, BOPO and LDR on ROA in Banking Sub-Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016 – 2020 period. The variables used in this study consisted of independent variables, namely CAR (X1), BOPO (X2), LDR (X3) and the dependent variables namely ROA (Y). The sample in this study amounted to 8 companies in the banking sub-sector whit data analysis techniques used in this study using SPSS version 25 software. The data analysis tool used is the classical assumption test of multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination test, F test and T test. The result of this study indicate that CAR, BOPO and LDR simultaneously have a significant effect on ROA. This is evidenced by the value of sig. 0,000 < 0,05. From the results of the t test (partial) the CAR variabel has a significant positive effect on ROA. The BOPO variable partially has a significant negative effect on ROA and the LDR variable is partially negative and has no significant effect on ROA. This is evidenced by the value of sig. X1 = 0,002 < 0,05, X2 = 0,003 < 0,05 and X3 = 0,440 > 0,05. The results of this study indicate that CAR, BOPO and LDR affect ROA by 41,5% while the remaining 58,5% is influenced by other variables on the research day. The company should futher increase the CAR ratio, stabilize the BOPO ratio and can maintain the LDR ratio according to the provisions that have been made determined by Bank Indonesia. It is used to assess the company’s financial performance.
