Jembayan River located in Kutai Kartanegara district, East Kalimantan Province. Jembayan River has a length of 180 km, width ranging from 20 – 80 ms, and 2-6 msin depth. The research was carried out in January 2020 at seven stations with three repetitions. The data was analyzed using unpaired t-test. Analysis of water samples was carried out at the Water Quality Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Mulawarman University. The measurement results for Nitrate levels at high tide ranged from 0.619 to 1.413 mg/L and at low tide ranged from 0.620 to 1.191 mg/L. The highest nitrate level at high tide was detected at Station 4 while at low tide at Station 7. The phosphate content at high tide ranged from 0.036 to 0.076 mg/L and at low tide ranges from 0.032 to 0.056 mg/L. The highest phosphate level at high tide was detected at Station 2 while at low tide at Station 4. The results of t-test analysis show that there was no significant difference in nitrate and phosphate levels at high tide and low tide in the Jembayan River.en_US
