dc.description.abstractEvie Riyani, analysis of discipline and motivation in improving employee performance at PT Cipta Krida Bahari in Samarinda City, under the guidance of Mr. Adietya Arie H, S.Sos, M.AB. and Mrs. Ana Noor Andriana, S.AB., M.AB. The increasingly complex and competitive business competition encourages entrepreneurs and business observers to further develop their thinking and obtain the right way to achieve the goals and objectives that have been set. PT Cipta Krida Bahari in Samarinda City is one of the companies engaged in providing spare parts for heavy equipment, and continues to strive to maintain service quality by applying discipline and motivation to improve performance. This study aims to analyze discipline and motivation in improving employee performance at PT Cipta Krida Bahari in Samarinda City. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive type of research, and in this study uses an interactive model data analysis method developed by Miles and Huberman, using key informant data sources as resource persons as many as 1 person, namely the HRGA manager of PT Cipta Krida Bahari in Samarinda City and 5 informants. employee people. The results of this study indicate that discipline and motivation are able to improve employee performance and there are findings of problems related to the indicators studied, namely: seen from the discipline that has indicators of obedience to employee disciplinary regulations that are still lacking in meeting company rules, indicators of compliance with employee policies feel that the procedures are The implementation is still lacking in detail related to the time of equipment maintenance, especially in the logistics section, indicators of ethical work and communication related to employee relations who feel that their aspirations are not being noticed by the leadership. Praise, bonuses related to work speed and work comfort related to employee abilities. With the application of discipline and motivation, the company has minimized errors that occur during the work process in order to improve employee performance to be more optimal. Of the 4 indicators included in the research focus, it has supported discipline in improving employee performance and motivation indicators, namely rewards and working conditions, have also supported employee motivation to improve work results at PT Cipta Krida Bahari in Samarinda City which include attendance, compliance with work regulations, adherence to work standards, and work ethically, praise, bonuses and work comfort.en_US
