Pengaruh Pemberian Jenis Pakan yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Kelangsungan Hidup Benih Ikan Biawan (Helostoma temminckii)

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the effect of different types of feed on the growth of length and weight and the survival rate of kissing gouramy (Helostoma temmincki). The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 4 replications: P1 = Daphnia sp, P2 = Tubifex sp, dan P3 = Comersial feed. The data obtained were processed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan's distance test. The results showed that the giving different type of feed gave a very significant on the growth and survival of kissing gouramy. Giving Tubifex sp gives the highest growth of length is 3.16 cm, and the lowest with Daphnia sp, is 1.27 cm. Giving Tubifex sp type gives the highest on weight growth result of 0.89 gram, and the lowest with Daphnia sp, is 0.07 gram. Giving Tubifex sp type gives the highest survival rate of 97.5% and the lowest in giving of Daphnia sp, is 31.3%.
