dc.description.abstractEka Agustin Merdeka Wati, The effect of Participatory Leadership Style and Job Satisfaction on the Performance of Public Employees at the Tirta Kencana Regional Water Company (PDAM) in Samarinda. (Supervisors : Mr. Syarifuddin, S.Sos., M.Si and Mrs. Tuti Wediawati, S. .Sos., M.Si). The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of participatory leadership style and job satisfaction on the performance of public employees at the Tirta Kencana Regional Water Company (PDAM) in Samarinda. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed to analyze the data, which has been done using the statistical software SPSS version 22.The method census sampling with a sample of 67 respondents was used as the sampling methodology in this research.The research method employed in this study was descriptive quantitative research, which tries to determine the relationship between two variables.Observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation have all been used to collect data.The hypothesis of this study is that participatory leadership style and job satisfaction have a substantial impact on general staff performance at the Tirta Kencana Regional Water Company (PDAM) in Samarinda. According to the results of the F test, participatory leadership style and job satisfaction have a simultaneous effect on general employee performance at the regional drinking water company (PDAM) Tirta Kencana in Samarinda, so while job satisfaction has a partial effect on employee performance in the division of labor in the t test (partial).This is frequent at the Tirta Kencana regional drinking water company (PDAM) in Samarinda. According to the results of the standardized coefficienz largest beta, work satisfaction is the most influential variable. At the Tirta Kencana regional drinking water company (PDAM) in Samarinda, the participatory leadership style variable and job satisfaction have a significant simultaneous and partial effect on employee performance, and the job satisfaction variable has a partially significant effect on the performance of general employees. The satisfaction variable work is the most influential variable on employee performance. The writers suggest that the Regional Water Company (PDAM) Tirta Kencana, specifically the general department, pay more attention to leadership style and job satisfaction in order to improve employee performance in the future, based on the findings of this study.en_US
