dc.description.abstractAde Dian Sari, Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Job Stress on Employee Performance at CV Thortech Asia Software in Samarinda. Under the guidance of Mrs. Tuti Wediawati, S.Sos., M.Si and Mrs. Dian Dwi Nur Rahmah, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of emotional intelligence and work stress on employee performance at CV Thortech Asia Software in Samarinda. The data analysis tool used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of statistical software SPSS version 23. The sampling technique in this study is atechnique. sampling saturation, which is the determination of the sample when all members of the population are used as a sample, as many as 30 respondents. The type of research used in this study uses quantitative research using statistical calculation methods to make it easier to calculate data from the influence of emotional intelligence and work stress on employee performance. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence and work stress on employee performance at CV Thortech Asia Software in Samarinda. The results of the research on the F test indicate that emotional intelligence and work stress simultaneously affect employee performance on CV Thortech Asia Software in Samarinda, while the t test shows that work stress has a partial effect on employee performance on CV Thortech Asia Software in Samarinda. The conclusion of this study is that the variables of emotional intelligence and work stress have a significant simultaneous and partial effect on employee performance at CV Thortech Asia Software in Samarinda.and work stress variable is the most influential variable on employee performance. With the findings of this study, the company CV Thortech Asia Software pays more attention to emotional intelligence, especially for work stress in order to improve employee performance in the future.en_US
