dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the condition of mangrove and feasibility research sites for ecotourism activities in Tanjung Limau subdistrict of Muara Badak. This research was conducted in April 2019, in Tanjung Limau subdistrict of Muara Badak. This research is based on three stages. The first stage of the preparation, and then conducted a survey observations, and the determination of the sampling point, and then do the data collection, and the last stage is the analysis of the data. Based on the results of research in the field, discovered five species of mangrove, including: Sonneratia alba, Avicennia alba, Rhizophora apiculata, Bruguiera cylindrical, and Ceriops tagal. And in terms of the value of mangrove density in general, the value obtained is still relatively low. Reviewed using a tourism suitability index, showing that mangrove areas in Tanjung Limau Village are still in the conditionally appropriate category (S3).en_US
