This study aims to determine the length, weight and viability of the juveniles ofkissing gourame (Helostoma temminckii) using the fasting method. This research has been conducted in the Experimental Pool of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Mulawarman University, using a completely randomized design method (CRD) with 3 treatments and 4 replications. The best results of the fasting of kissing gourame juveniles is treatment 1 (control) without fasting and given routine feed, giving a length growth rate of 0.31cm, weight growth 0.17g, but for survival, the best results were obtained in treatment 3 (2 days of fasting and 1 day of feed). The conclusion of this study is that the growth of juveniles of kissing gourame without fasting obtained the best results seen from the parameters of length growth and weight growth, while for the best survival was obtained in treatment 3 (2 days of fasting and 1 day of feeding)en_US
