Kondisi Biologi Reproduksi Ikan Lepok (Ompok bimaculatus) di Danau Melintang Kecamatan Muara Wis Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara

Abstract

The aimed of this study was to figure out the length-weight relationship, condition factor, gonado maturity level, index of maturity, gonado index and index of maturity–gonado index relationship of butter catfish (Ompok bimaculatus) in the Melintang Lake. This study was conducted 27 June until 5 July. Anatomically of observations conducted at Laboratory of Local Fish Development, Laboratory of Aquaculture Environment and Laboratory of Aquaculture System and Technology , Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty, Mulawarman University. Purposive accidental sampling method was used in taking specimens of the Melintang Lake. Moreover, anatomically observation carries out at Local Fish Development Laboratory. The result of this research showed that the growth pattern of male and female butter catfish was negative alometrik. Condition factor of Butter catfish ranged between 0.62-1.01 male and female lepok fish condition factor ranged between 0.59-0.72 it means that male and females butter catfish condition were slightly flattened. For Level of gonado maturity were at TKG II a 19 fishes from 42 fishes for male lepok fish and at TKG III a 39 fishes from 75 fishes for female butter catfish. Score index of gonado maturity in male and female was is directly proportional with score of gonado index.
