Asrin, 2019. Effect of salinity on the growth and moulting of spotted Shrimp (Metapenaeus affinis). Under the guidance of Achmad Syafei Sidik and Komsanah Sukarti. The experiment aimed to assess the effect of salinity differences on the growth and moulting of spotted shrimp (Metapenaeus affinis). This experiment was conducted at the Laboratory of Toxicology, Department of Aquaculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Mulawarman University, from June 7 to July 7, 2018. The completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments and four replications was applied in the experiment, i.e. :P1 :Salinity 25 ppt;P2 : Salinity 15 ppt andP3 : Salinity 5 ppt. Results show that salinity differences did not affect significantly on the growth, number of moulting and survival rate of the shrimp. Moulting at 5, 15 and 25 ppt occured 23, 33 and 32 times, respectively. The highest shrimp survival rate of 95% was obtained at 5 ppt salinity.en_US
