Kondisi Fisiologis dan Nutrition Value Coeffisient (NVC) Ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) Yang Dibudidayakan Dalam Karamba Kolam Bekas Tambang Batubara Di Lok Bahu Kecamatan Sungai Kunjang Kota Samarinda
Abstract
Some communities have been doing fish farming in ex-coal mining ponds, especially around ex-mining areas.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the health condition of O. niloticus based on phisiologis conditions,
NVC and to analyze the feasibility of water quality in ex-coal mining pond cages. This research was conducted
at the Aquatic Microbiology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Mulawarman University,
while fish and water samples were take in Rawa Bening Freshwater Fish Cages, Lok Bahu Village, Sungai
Kunjang District, Samarinda City in September-October 2020. The samples take 22 fish, 10 fish in cages I with
a length of 13,4-16,0 cm and a weight of 35,1-60,9 g with cultured of 3 months, 10 in the second cages with
a length of 15,0-17,8 cm and weight 57,1-114,9 g with cultured of 5 months, and 2 fish in the pond with a
length of 12,0-12,3 cm and a weight of 25,6 -28,4 g. The all fish observed for clinical symptoms. The result, all
fish were normal or none are indicated by general symptoms The NVC value of tilapia in healthy cages I was
30% ranging from 1,73-2,01 g/cm, in healthy cages II was 70% ranging from 1,75-2,23 g/cm, and fish in pond
uhealthy ranging from 1,38-1,64 g/cm, . Water quality such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), and
nitrite (NO2) are quite good and suitable for cultivation, but the levels of ammonia (NH3) in cages I and in the
pond have exceeded the quality standard.
