Abstract

STILE DOMINAN UNTUK CAPAIAN ESTETIS: KAJIAN STILISTIKA LIRIK LAGU GRUP MUSIK FOURTWNTY Norma Atika Sari1,*, & Ian Wahyuni2 1, 2Program Studi Sastra Indonesia Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Unmul * Pos-el: atikasari.norma@gmail.com ABSTRAK Fokus penelitian ini adalah analisis terhadap unsur stile yang meliputi unsur bunyi, leksikal, dan majas dalam tiga lirik lagu grup musik Fourtwnty. Metode yang dipilih adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan langkah kerja menganalisis unsur-unsur stile untuk menemukan stile dominan. Dari stile dominan tersebut akan disimpulkan stile khas gaya penciptaan lirik lagu grup musuk Fourtwnty. Tujuan akhir penlitian ini adalah menyimpulkan bagaimana stile khas tersebut berfungsi sebagai sarana capaian estetis. Hasil penelitian menemukan stile dominan grup musik Fourtwnty adalah dominasi manipulasi bunyi dalam bentuk asonansi dan mesodiplosis; kosa kata yang dipilih sederhana namun mampu merepresentasikan keresahan kehidupan kaum urban di era postmodernisme, penyampaian pesan didominasi oleh majas sehingga membuat lagu menjadi multitafsir dan tidak membosankan karena tidak sebatas menyampaikan doktrin atau dogma. Kemungkinan penafsiran melalui penggunaan simile, metafora dan personifikasi juga menjadikan karya ini selalu segar dan kontemplatif karena tidak menggurui atau terkesan menceramahi. Kemunculan “aku” dan “ku” di semua sampel lagu juga menciptakan efek estetis yang melahirkan suasana eksistensialis dimana pembaca atau pendengar merasa turut mengalami dan merasakan kegelisahan yang disampaikan. Kata kunci: stilistika, bunyi, leksikal, majas, band Fourtwnty ABSTRACT The focus of this research is analysis of style elements which include sound, lexical, and figure of speech elements in the three lyrics of the Fourtwnty music group. The method chosen is descriptive qualitative with the work step of analyzing the elements of the style to find the dominant style. From the dominant style, it will be concluded that the style is typical of the style of creating lyrics for the music group Fourtwnty. The final goal of this research is to conclude how these distinctive styles function as a means of aesthetic achievement. The results of the study found that the dominant style of the Fourtwnty music group was the dominance of sound manipulation in the form of assonance and mesodiplosis; The vocabulary chosen is simple but able to represent the unrest of urban life in the era of postmodernism, the delivery of messages is dominated by figurative language so that the song becomes multi-interpreted and not boring because it is not limited to conveying doctrines or dogmas. The possibility of interpretation through the
