| Abstract: | This paper aims on at least two things, that it provides an example of a teaching scenario which encourage students to positively engaged in classroom activities as a process to build their understanding on linguistics concepts, and students’ perspective on the implementation of the scenario. The scenario is designed by emphasizing on active learning and cooperative learning to maximize students’ participation through collaborating, communicating, thinking critically, and being creative. Conducted on one of linguistics class in an English Teacher Training Program, questionnaire given shows that students react positively toward the implementation of the scenario. |
