dc.description.abstractThe study objective is to obtain medicine and cosmetic materials from tropical rain forests resources, especially from non-timber forest products, such honey and its derivatived namely propolis and bee pollen. The Stingless bee (Homotrigona fimbriata) produced honey, propol is and bee pollen. The honey by in vitro have an effect to kill cancer cells. The results in MTT assay showed cytotoxicity effect of Homotrigona fimbriata hoey in some cancer cells. These findings showed the potential of this honey fro cancer treatment but need further experiment to be done.en_US
