Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence students' motivation in participating in the Tak takraw extracurricular activities in Samarinda. These problems are: what factors influence student motivation in Samarinda when participating in the Sepak takraw extracurricular activities. Based on the results of the study note that the motivation of students who take part in the Sepak takraw activity in Samarinda is high, there is 1 student or 1.6% who stated that the motivation to participate in the sepak takraw extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda is included in the very high category, 26 students or 41 % in the high category, 9 students or 14% stated that the motivation to join the Sepak takraw extracurricular activities in Samarinda was included in the moderate category, 16 students or 26% in the low category and 11 students or 16,18% in the very low category
