ANALISIS KOMPARASI VARIABEL REGIONAL DAN INTERNASIONAL DALAM PEMBENTUKAN INFLASI DI KALIMANTAN TIMUR DENGAN MODEL KOREKSI KESALAHAN

Abstract

This stgdy aimed to compare the influence of regional (capita income) and intenational (exchange rate) on the formation of inflation in Easf Katimantan (Katfim) in both the short and long term. The data used are secondary data quarter of 2000 until the year 2008. The madel used for estimation is the method of double Regression Error Correction (ECM). To praduce regressions are nat spurious (spurios), then alt vaiables tested stationary, while the lang-lerm reiationshipwith the caintegraiion test. The resuliing equation is used to esttmate viable because it has futfitted the terms pr6posed. The results of tie anatysis explains, that in the long run both regional and intenational variables influence no significanf effect on the formation of inflation in Eist Katimantan, while short term, the intenational vanable dominant and significant in the formation of inflation in East Katimantan is supported by the fact that the structure of the economy is dominated by the East Katimantan net exports (foreign trade)
