Analisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify factors that can affect to Human Development Index (HDI) at Sulawesi Barat Province. The study used some variables that are considered to affect Human Development Index, such as: Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Agriculture Sector, Government Direct Expenditures, Private Investment, and Unemployment Rate. By using the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, from the results of this study indicated that : (1) Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Agriculture Sector, Government Direct Expenditures, Private Investment Growth, and Unemployment Rate simultaneously have significant influence on the Human Development Index (HDI) in the Sulawesi Barat Province as much as 0.999, (2) Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Agriculture Sector has positive influence and significant on the HDI of Sulawesi Barat Province; (3) Government Direct Expenditures has positive influence and significant on HDI of Sulawesi Barat Province; (4) Private Investment has positive influence and significant on HDI of Sulawesi Barat Province; (5) Unemployment Rate has negative influence and not significant on the HDI of Sulawesi Barat Province;, (6) Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Agriculture Sector has dominant influence on the HDI of Sulawesi Barat Province
