dc.description.abstract | Indonesia is a rich country that has plenty of tourism sites which becomes the main attraction for traveller. The recreational trip can be done alone or in groups with or without using a traveling agencies. For people who are beginners at visiting tourist site, of course, have to dig deeper into the information about the recreational places. This can be a problem for tourists, especially for those who visited a certain area for first time. To minimize these problem, nearest recreational location searching can provide assistance to traveller in finding the required information and choose a recreational object to be visited. The recreation guide application provides the output of the distance between two objects.. Tourism site used in this study is the tourism site of Samarinda city. There are 13 tourism sites, which divided into three types of recreation, the outdoor recreation, artificial recreation, and recreational buildings. The method used to search the nearest recreational location based on the user's location is Haversine method. The results of this research is to help the user to find the nearest tourism site to the location of the user and rank the locations by distance. | en_US |
