The measurements obtained Escherichia coli/E coli and most probable number coliform /MPN coliform 9.2 X 104 on drainage around the settlement in Samarinda district, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. The analysis of concentration clay in soil kutai was 55.9% that would have potential for reducing of pathogenic bacteria by physical power. In this study seek measurements of MPN coli and E coli on domestic wastewater, analysis chemical and physical clay soil kutai, and analyze efficiency reduction of clay soil kutai against MPN coli and E. coli in four formula of activation clay soil kutai included such as 100% clay kutai, to add white cement 25%, 50%, and 75% in dose of formula 10 gram/100ml domestic wastewater. Result of study shew that all of formulas clay soil kutai have high reduction around 95.5%-99.9% and result of Kruskal-Wallis analysis shew that have high significant such as: p value 0.021-0.000. The utilization of clay soil kutai for reducing MPN coli and E coli on domestic wastewater has high effectiveness. Keywords Clay Soil kutai, MPN coli, E. coli, Reducing
