Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Manajemen Keselamatan Dan Kesehatan Kerja Laboratorium Bagi Guru-Guru SMA Dari Kota Samarinda Dan Tenggarong

Abstract

Referring to the Indonesian Law, UU No. 1 tahun 1970, Occupational and Health Safety (OHS), laboratory is a place that has several hazards and potential risks to health and safety. Furthermore, OHS management for Senior High School teachers who are responsible for managing the science laboratory is compulsory. The current community service program entitled socialization and workshop management on OHS for 27 senior high school teachers in Samarinda and Tenggarong city has been conducted. The program was done at FMIPA, Mulawarman University and aimed to increase knowledge of OHS Management, Risk assessment, hazard identification, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), First aid, psychosocial hazard, and drafting Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in OHS, by using a method 25% theory; 75% practice. The outcome of this program (based on the evaluation from questionnaire) was the increased knowledge and understanding of 97% participants on the OHS management, SOP drafting, CPR, First aid, and psychosocial hazard
