The development of remote sensing technology using Drones can certainly help identiying the waters of ponds contaminated with iron sulfate (FeSO4) derived from pyrite compounds (FeS4). This research aims to find out the spectral relationship of drone imagery with the concentration of iron sulfate (FeSO4) on the surface of the pond water. The research was conducted at 2 units of traditional ponds which are in the process of production. In-situ measurements are performed by taking aerial photographs using drones as well as water quality measurements, while sulfate iron concentration measurements (FeSO4) are performed at UNMUL FPIK Integrated Analysis Laboratory. The results showed that there is a link between the imagery taken from the drone and the iron element of the FeSO4 compound in the surface layer of the measured pond water seen through the interpolation of the Red Band at an altitude of 100 meters with a value of 0.9810.en_US
