Pangasius djambal (Patin) is a consummable freshwater fish that native from Indonesia, spreading across Sumatera and Borneo. It is one of the most favored fish among all, commercially valuable, rapidly cultivated, and potential as an export commodity. Patin requires source of energy that comes from feed for growth and survival. Propolis, the resins that collected by honeybees from various plants, is one ingredient that can be mixed with fish feed. It has been widely used as a growth improver agent, hepatoprotector and immunostimulant for fish due to its many biological and pharmacological properties. The objective of this research was to observe the effect of propolis extract supplementation on the survival of Patin. Five levels viz 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 gr/kg of propolis extract supplementation were prepared and tested against basal diet, which was used as a control. Each diet was fed to three replicated groups, containing 10 fish each group of patin (Initial mean weight of 0.93±0 g), at a rate of 3% body weight everyday. The results showed that the number of survival of any groups of Patin was not affected by any various levels of propolis extract supplementation.
