dc.description.abstractThe usage of remote learning system creates challenges in many universities, especially Mulawarman University during COVID-19 pandemic. The utilization of remote learning system has supported many lecturers in teaching and learning process. However, making an appropriate learning assessment is still an issue. This study is aimed to investigate the types of assessment and media utilized by lecturers in assessing the students’ performance in Mulawarman University. In addition, this study will also examine the challenges experienced by lecturers in conducting the assessment process. This study will employ a survey study design by distributing questionnaire to respondents. The respondents are lecturers from any discipline fields in Mulawarman University. The data taken from the questionnaire will be tallied in percentage. The findings of this study will offer useful suggestion for lecturers, university stakeholders, and future researchers, which will facilitate others to have well-prepared learning assessment in remote learning system.en_US
