Abstract

Writing independently often poses considerable challenges for students, especially those who have limited linguistic resources and writing experiences. This chapter contributes to meaningfully incorporate collaborative learning into the instructional design of a basic writing course. Specifically, the collaborative learning idea supports sentence construction to prepare for a paragraph writing.
