Cultural heritage in tourism has been acknowledged as an essential means of encouraging rural development. As the primary source of attraction, cultural heritage has become a magnet to attract visitors and increase people's quality of life. However, sustaining the cultural heritage is always challenging, especially when paired with tourism. It has become more complex and has multifaceted dimensions related to its cultural heritage conservation and preservation, but at the same time, it needs to meet the visitor's expectations. There for, it needs to seriously investigate the challenges between knowledge and local practices and the challenges and strategies regarding policy and local framework to contribute to existing knowledge.en_US
