Pemanfaatan Bunga Telang (Clitoria Ternatea L.) Sebagai infused Water Pencegah Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

Dumaring is a village located in Talisayan District, Berau Regency, East Kalimantan which has many natural resources, one of which is the butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea). Butterfly pea flowers are known to have various health benefits. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education through socialization and demonstration of making butterfly pea flower infused water as a health drink for people with hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The method used in this activity is the service-learning method, namely by socializing the benefits of butterfly pea flowers followed by a demonstration of making butterfly pea flower infused water as a health drink for people with hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The result of this activity is that the community knows the benefits of butterfly pea flowers as a health drink and its potential to improve the family economy through butterfly pea flower drink business opportunities
