Efektivitas Pemberian Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid) Dengan Frekuensi Berbeda Terhadap Kelangsungan Hidup dan Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Gabus (Channa striata Bloch)
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid) fed in different frequencies to the survival and growth rate of snakehead fish (C. striata). The study used 5 treatments with 3 replications, i.e ; P1 (without vitamin B5), P2 (vitamin B5, every day), P3 (vitamin B5, every two days), P4 (vitamin B5, every three days), P5 (vitamin B5 once a week). Data were analyzed by the completely random design (CRD). The results of the analysis showed that the feeding with of vitamin B5 in different frequencies of each treatment had different significantly the survival rate, on absolute weight growth, daily growth rate, feed efficiency and feed conversion, but did not differ to the absolute length growth and the specific growth rate. Based on the Duncan test showed that the absolute weight growth, daily growth rate, feed efficiency and feed conversion were found at the frequency of vitamin B5 every day.
