dc.description.abstractThe objective of this experiment was to assess the effect of the addition of lempuyang and eggplant extracts in feed on the growth and survival rate of snakehead fries rearing in controlled captivity. Two treatments with six replicates were applied in the experiment. The treatments were feed without the addition of lempuyang and eggplant exctracts and feed supplemented with lempuyang and eggplant exctract at 0,1 ml extract/g feed. Unpaired student t-test was used to analyze the different effect of extract addition on the above parameters. Result showed that the supplementation of lempuyang and eggplant extracts was supposed to be effective since it gave a significant effect on feed efficiency. It means that with the same amount of feed the supplementation of lempuyang and eggplant extracts tended to promote a better growth and feed conversion ratio, even statistically did not show any significant difference with the feed without the extracts.en_US
