Penambahan Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) pada pakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan gabus (Channa striata Bloch)

Abstract

The aimed of this research were to analize effect of pyridoxine in feed to survival rate and growth of Snakehead Murrel (Channa striata Bloch). The completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and three replicated were used at this study. The tested dosages of pyridoxine were 0 (control), 30,60, 90 and 120 mg/kg in feed. The ANOVA test showed that the diffrences of pyridoxine gave a significant effect on survival rate, weight gain, length gain, daily growth rate, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio and feed efficiency of snakehead murrel (P<0.05). The result showed the survival rate ranged between 80-100%, the length gain rate ranged from 1.66 to 2.18 cm, the weight gain rate ranged from 1.01 to 2.05 g, daily growth rate ranged from 0.03 to 0.06 g/days, specific growth rate ranged from 3.26 to 4.63 %/days, feed conversion ration rate ranged from 0.92 to 2.18, and feed efficiency rate ranged from 45.97 to 108.11%. Based on the Duncan test showed that the highest weight gain, daily growth rate, specific growth rate, feed convertion ratio, and feed efficiency were found at the dosage of 30 mg/kg feed.
