This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of vitamin B5 addition in feed with different
doses to growth, survival rates and feed conversion values of common snakehead fish
(Channa striata). This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The main parameters observed in this study are daily growth rate, absolute length growth, absolute weight growth, specific growth rate, survival and feed conversion. Treatment of feeding with the addition of vitamin B5 are P1 (0 mg Vit B5 / kg of feed), P2 (5 mg Vit B5 / kg feed), P3 (10 mg Vit B5 / kg feed), P4 (15 mg Vit B5 / kg feed) ) and P5 (20 mg Vit B5 / kg of feed). The data obtained were then analyzed for variance (ANOVA) with 95% and 99% to determine the effect of treatment on the test parameters. If the treatment is significantly different, then to see the difference between treatments is tested further using one of the DMRT tests.
The results of research that has been carried out during the 30-day maintenance period
showed that the administration of rebon shrimp flour with the addition of different doses of vitamin B5 showed a good pattern of response and had a very significant effect on the
growth of the length and weight of common snakehead fish (Channa striata). The higher
dose of vitamin B5 showed slower growth and did not have a significant effect on the survival of common snakehead fish (Channa striata) (p> 0.05). The highest growth in length and weight was seen in treatment P3 (10 mg vit B5). The survival of common snakehead fish (Channa striata) is very low, ranging from 33-48%.
