This experiment was conducted to examine the effect of dietary supplementation of microbial phytase on feed palatability and growth in snake head (Channa striata Bloch.) Completely Randomized Design consisting of four treatments and three replicates, namely P1 (0), P2 (100), P3 (200), and P4 (300) mg phytase / kg of feed was applied in this experiment. Observations were conducted on the feeding response and growth. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The observation showed that the supplementation of phytase enzyme reduced feed consumed and growth. However, statistical test results showed that the addition of phytase did not result in significant effect on these variables.en_US
