Study of Surfactant Levels on the Lower Waters of the Karang Mumus River in Samarinda City. (supervised
by Mursidi and Widya Kusumaningrum) The purpose of this study was to analyze the surfactant levels in the
waters of the Karang Mumus River. The research was carried out from April to May 2018. Sampling was
carried out at 8 stations at the time of the morning tide, afternoon tide, morning recedes and the afternoon
receded. Samples were measured in the water quality lab of the Faculty of Fisheries. The measurement data
were analyzed using the chi square test and t test. The results showed that the levels of surfactants during
morning and evening tides ranged from 0.01 to 0.26 mg / l and at morning and evening ebb ranged from
0.02 to 0.28 mg / l. The results of data analysis using chi square and the t test showed that there was no
significant difference in the level of substance between locations and times of ups and downs.
