dc.description1. DAFTAR Pen_US
The potential of maggot (Hermetiai illucens) as an alternative material as a protein source can be utilized for feed for tilapia fish (Oreochromis niloticus). This study aims to determine the percentage of the addition of Maggot flour (H. illucens) in commercial feed on the growth of Tilapia fish (O. niloticus) and analyze the effect of adding Maggot flour (H. illucens) to commercial feed on feed efficiency. This research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and repeated 3 times, namely P0 (100% commercial feed (PK)), P1 (25% Maggot Flour (TM) + 75% Commercial Feed (PK) ), P2 (50% Maggot Flour (TM) + 50% Commercial Feed (PK)), P3 (75% Maggot Flour (TM) + 25% Commercial Feed (PK)) Sampling was carried out 4 times with intervals of measurement and collection data once a week. The results showed that the addition of maggot flour to commercial feed had no significant effect (P > 0.05) on the growth of tilapia. The highest treatment on the growth of total length, absolute weight and survival rate of tilapia showed that P1 (25% TM + 75% PK) was higher than treatment P2 (50% TM + 50% PK), P3 (75% TM) +25 PK) and the lowest is P0 (PK). The efficiency level and feed conversion ratio that had added maggot flour to commercial feed showed that the results had no significant effect on tilapia. The level of feed efficiency P0 showed the highest results compared to treatments P1, P2, and P3.en_US
