| dc.description.abstract | The socio-demographic survey of the impact of COVID-19 involving 87,379 respondents in 2020 provides information on the level of public concern about the condition of COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic has made major changes in people's lives, the necessity to isolate themselves from the outside world and the uncertainty of when the pandemic will end are thought to affect the mental health of every individual. This study aims to identify fear of coronavirus 19 in all workers in the East Kalimantan region in 2021. The method used is a web-based quantitative survey with a cross-sectional approach. This study uses a snowball sampling technique, and there is no element of coercion in filling out the survey. 202 respondents were willing to fill out a complete survey from various employment sectors with the majority coming from the Education sector (46.53%), the Health services sector (14.85%), then 10.89% were workers in the government administration sector. 56.9% of workers are female and 43.1% are male with the highest education level being D3/equivalent at 47%. In the measurement results using FCV-19S, information was obtained that the respondent's level of fear was the most on the item of discomfort in thinking about the corona (x = 2.95), fear of losing their life due to corona (x = 2.60) and nervous or anxious when watching the news about the coronavirus. Corona (x = 2.40). This study concludes that the fear of the coronavirus 19 reached a maximum value of 25 with an average of 13.95. The higher this score, the respondents, in this case, are workers who have a higher fear of the coronavirus 19. | en_US |
