Abstract
This research is to analyze the effect of the variable investment and inflation on economic growth and its impact on unemployment in West Kutai, and also to test and analyze direct and indirect influence of each independent variable on the independent variable. The analytical tool used is quantitative analysis using path analysis (path analysis). Path analysis is used to determine influence private investment and inflation on economic growth (and its impact on unemployment variable. The Study Found that: Private investment and Inflation have a direct effect on economic growth, while Private investment and Inflation have direct impact on Open Unemployment in West Kutai. While private investment variables and inflation through economic growth have a direct or indirect effect on open unemployment in West Kutai
