Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between the environmental awareness and waste-sorting intention among students at the faculty of social and political science, Mulawarman University. quantitative approach was used as the method in the study. Samples used in this study consisted of 98 students who were selected by simple random sampling technique. Waste-sorting intention scale and level taste of environmental awareness were used for data collection method. The collected data will be analyzed using the Jaspen' M correlation analysis. The results showed that there has positive significant relationship between the environmental awareness and waste-sorting intention among students at the faculty of social and political science, Mulawarman University, with a r value of 0.227 and r table of 0.195.
