Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a difference between the turnover and traditional retail work hours integrally and per region after Indomaret stands around traditional retail. In this research, we use Paired Samples T-Test method to test the difference of turnover and traditional retail working hours between before Indomaret and after Indomaret around the traditional retail. The results of this study indicate that the emergence of Indomaret negative impact on traditional retail around, ie significantly reduced traditional retail turnover. Based on the research area, the reduction of turnover that occurred in Samarinda Ilir sub-district was significant, Samarinda Ulu sub-district was significant, Sungai Pinang sub-district was significant, and Samarinda Kota sub- district was not significant. The results of this study also indicate that the emergence of Indomaret has a negative impact on traditional retail work hours, namely the significant increase of traditional retail work hours. Based on the research area, the addition of working hours that occurred in Samarinda Ilir sub-district was significant, Samarinda Ulu sub-district was significant, Sungai Pinang sub-district was significant, and Samarinda Kota sub-district was not significant
