dc.description.abstractStudies reported that complications could be found in children with dengue infection with some factors that influenced. This retrospective study aimed to find the correlation of age, gender, and bleeding status with the occurrence of complication in children with dengue infection at RSUD Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda. This research was using cross sectional design with Chi Square test to analyse the result. Total samples of this research is 110, were collected from medical records by used purposive sampling. The result of this study showed 36 people (32,7%) had complications. Bleeding status related to complications (p = 0,026, p<0,05, OR 2,52; 95% CI 1,10-5,76), age (p = 0,799, p>0,05) and gender (p = 0,347, p>0,05) did not related to complication. Based on the result of this study, bleeding status could influence complication in children with dengue infection.en_US
