This study aims to determine the level of competitiveness of rubber products, namely rubber and articles thereof. in East Kalimantan Province. The data used is from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Plantation Service from 2014 to 2018. The data analysis method used is the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) Revealed Symmetric Comparative Advantage (RSCA) Trade Specialization Index (ISP) competitiveness analysis method. The results showed that in 2014 to 2018 Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Revealed Symmetric Comparative Advantage (RSCA) rubber products, namely rubber and articles thereof (rubber and its goods). East Kalimantan Province has weak competitiveness and does not have a comparative advantage with a value of less than one and a negative value due to increased energy costs, high economic costs and inadequate bureaucratic services. Other challenges faced are the weak linkages between industries (upstream and downstream industries as well as between large industries and small and medium industries), the limited economic components between regions. The analysis of the Trade Specialization Index (ISP) shows that East Kalimantan Province tends to be an importer of rubber products.en_US
