The purpose of this study was to determine the service quality of library staff, to
determine student satisfaction, and to determine the significance of the influence between
service quality and student satisfaction. The type of research used is the type of quantitative
research. The population of this study were students of the 2016-2017 economic education
study program at Mulawarman University, amounting to 129 people. Data collection
techniques in this study are observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. Based
on the results of the data analysis carried out, it can be seen that the value of tcount = 2.835 >
ttable 1.656, then partially there is a significant influence between the service quality of
library staff on student satisfaction in the economic education study program at Mulawarman
University in 2019. Furthermore, based on the R Square test or the coefficient of
determination of 0.426, which means, the variable of service quality of librarian affects the
variable of student satisfaction of economic education study program by 42%.
