dc.description.abstractThis study aims to see how effective the learning process using google classroom has been given by the teacher to students. The type of research used is qualitative with the subject of 6 students and 4 teachers. Collecting data using observation, interviews and questionnaires. Internal data analysis includes the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the use of google classroom in social studies learning in Class VIII is quite effective. The effectiveness is seen in the management of the learning implementation that has carried out direction and preparation, in terms of communication it is quite good, and learning activities that can save time and are effective, as well as the performance of google classroom which can be understood by teachers and students as users. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of learning using google classroom is in the effective category. However, there are shortcomings that are found in teachers and students who have not communicated with online discussions through Google Classroom, which means that teachers only use Google Classroom in a number of ways, such as delivering assignments, absences and assessments.en_US
